The Park Lane Group was founded by our parents who instilled in us the values that have been instrumental in developing our foundation. Originating from Pakistan and then moving to Malawi, they witnessed at first hand the impact of poverty on people’s lives, On arriving to the UK in 1976, the seeds of our business were planted a year later with the purchase of a single property. Today that initial investment has grown to a business employing over 300 people with a substantial property holding across the UK.
Those family values remain integral to everything we do. We are determined to use our resources to deliver real change across society and support those less privileged than us. Through consulting Trustees, staff, partners and other stakeholders we now understand how we best use our company portfolio to raise aspirations and improve the quality of people’s lives.
As a company we have always been proud of our ability to innovate and deliver excellence and we intend to extend these same qualities to our charitable work through developing the Foundation.
Who do we support?
As a developing Charitable Foundation, we are keen to support initiatives that can benefit substantially from relatively small-scale input.
We want to support projects that are well-managed and which demonstrate high levels of efficiency while ensuring the maximum benefit to the beneficiary.
Currently the main focus is on; children and young people, improving educational attainment, sport and homelessness. The Foundation also focuses on overseas work in Malawi, where the company founders originate from and which is amongst the most deprived countries in Africa.

How do we raise funds?
The majority of the Foundation income is received from the Parklane Group who also support its work in many other ways.
All the Charitable Foundation’s administration costs are covered by the Parklane Group, so everything raised goes straight to the charities we support.
